I am just airing my personal thoughts. It’s up to you if you are getting affected. But I guess I will not stop writting my experiences with your bank. It is my money we are talking about. I earned that from hard work so I guess I have the right to voice out your services. But I guess I really have the right to speak. I already told my boss about the different incidents, same as my other co-workers who had a bad experiences. And we are asking if we could change the bank. Pero as long as na nasa UCPB ang payroll namin at nakakaexperience ako ng POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. I will make sure that I will always write an article. On my previous employer, I never had a single problem with my payroll. Nasa BPI kasi ang payroll account namin. Actually mas convenient sakin yun dahil sa EPS nila. And ang daming BPI ATM machine within Makati Area. Two thumbs up sa BPI.
I hope the bank will not be bothered with my blog. Remember walang law sa internet. Lalo na sa pagbblog. I have the right to speak and tell anything that I want.

I should be reviewing as of this moment. The Certification exam is getting closer yet I am not in a mood to review my past notes. My schedule for today should be Thermodynamics. Good luck to me! Formulas.. formulas… All formulas.. hehehe.. I remember after I graduated it took me a months before I had my first job. I had different experiences then, before I ended up in the world of SEO. My good friend, Romela de Leon was the one who helped me to get into this world. She is a SEO Specialist back then at Directwithhotels Ltd. Because I have taken some units in Information Technology I had a chance to be part of Directwithhotels as a Link Popularity Specialist. That is the first time I met Google! Funny huh?! I never knew google till I entered that company. I used to use yahoo in my college days for research. And when I had my first job, it was totally different, I met different search engines, I even get to do some research projects for the company. I’ve talked to different representatives of the search engines to do some inquires. I even learned the shortcuts in the keyboard. Very funny. She even told me that I should no longer use my personal excuse “MAPUAN ako at MAHINA talaga kame sa English!”. On my first job, I really need to enroll myself to an English Class. First to review the basic english (grammar). Second, to improve my conversation. And lastly, gain some confidence in dealing with people. Going back again to my first job, I’ve learned SEO from that company. And that is why I am here. I learned the world of internet. I even enjoy everything! (starting to love blogging) I love the web 2.0, the social networks. When we got our dsl I also taught my mom how to used the internet and a little SEO. And now she’s a friendster addict (more addicted than I am). She learned so fast despite the fact that she is already above 50 of age. She even share to us her favorite websites where she watch movies, korean-novelas, newspaper sites etc. She is also into the online games. That is why she cannot finished her household chores. hahahaha… Well that’s it for now. Need to review again. Till next time! No tag for this article.

Are you really dedicated to provide good customer service? And it happens again to me. POOR BANKING SYSTEM! Awhile ago, I went down our building around 1 pm to withdraw a cash for my monthly bills. And again the banking system is offline. I am not surprised with that actually I am use to that. But when I came down again around 4 pm, I thought that the ATM machine is already working. Actually it is working at that moment. I insert my ATM card, enter my pin no. check my remaining balance, ask for a receipt and finally decided to withdraw cash. And then I waited for a seconds to release my ATM card, receipt and to end with NO MONEY to come out! At that point, I thought that it might debit my ATM account again. So I hurriedly insert again my ATM card to check my balance. Thank GOD It doesn’t debit my account but my concern is why is that they are not putting any signage if there ATM machine is offline. It doesn’t end my story to that, after the incident I decided to go inside the bank to report their ATM machine but the guard that is on duty didn’t allow me to go inside the bank. He pointed the signage in front of the glass door of the bank “CLOSED”. I wonder why they are closed at that moment while I asked my coworker about the time that a bank should be close and it is only 4pm. The guard didn’t entertain my concern; he talked to me in a little space (10mm to be exact of the size of the space of the door! Don’t ask me if I am right about the measurement I am an Engineer! Pft!) of the door without opening it. It really dismays me. Just so my whole day wont be ruined I decided to go back to my office BUT blog the incident that happen to me. So tell me, do you want to be a victim like me? Well, don’t be. Don’t open any account with UCPB. There are more good banks than them.

My puno pa nga ng kawayan e.

Last March 30, I finally decided to join Shell Helix Slalom having “Draggy” <my dad?!> as my co-pilot. Before we went to the event I prepared myself mentally and physically. And bear in mind that this time I will be relax. No Tensions on my part. I won’t think that I am competing with others. Well, thanks a lot to Mon2x , Anna, Alvin and Joi for coming on that event. They really gave me support until the race ends. Upon arriving on the place, we need to register our names and sign for a waiver. Yup! WAIVER. Then the next step would be to choose a category to race. Then I need them to check my engine if it is appropriate for the category that I am in to. They also check the tires if the screws are properly lock. Then, fall in line and practice! But before I do that I took a shot first on the written plot of the track with my cam then I do observations. That’s the time I fall in line if I already memorize the track. Every time a racer is lost inside the track the announcer will announced a DNF (Did Not Finish). After I have finished my practice race my friends and I look for a good spot to do some observations on how the other racer will perform the race. That is the time we shared our opinions based on the performance of the driver. When I felt that I am now ready to burn clutches (Just joking!) I ride inside the car put on my seatbelts, gloves and lastly the alien thing “the helmet”. Actually, I have my own helmet because of the unusual size of my head. It is only I who can use that. Hahaha… I need to line up and wait for my turn. When it’s my turn, I step on the gas until I reach the 4500rpm. Then wait for the command 1..2..3…START! Then hit the road baby! Try your skills in 90degrees even in 360 degrees and curves. And when I am near the finish line I need to step on the break two times to make sure I hit the stop box and have a full stop. Or else they will add 2 seconds on my time. My first Slalom was not a bad experience I had the 1st Place on the Ladies Class. Hahaha.. More Slaloms to go…
And Thanks to Lacas Motorsports!

One balmy Sunday morning, I woke up early feeling very excited about the day. I tarried in bed for a while, so many thoughts running across my mind. I was jolted into reality by mom’s voice waking us up- my sister Mae and brother Mico. We have to get up early and prepare for church which I don’t usually do. But this sunday morning it was different. I begged-off from going to church which I don’t usually do. Instead my dad and I prepared for a different journey- we are going to Tiendesitas. The thought of going there made me feel butterflies in my stomach.
In my usual attire of t-shirt and jeans & my Courtney (PSP) with me, my dad and I boarded Enterprise. Enterprise is my pet car; it is a Toyota starlet turbo (Japan model).
Dad let me drive. Feeling the road under my feet, my hands guiding the enterprise, I stepped on the gas. I felt like gliding in the air, coastal road was free from the hassles of traffic, without knowing it. We’re hitting 140kph. I heard my dads panicking voice telling me to slow down; it was a prelude of what’s going to happen.
At Tiendesitas, I had to convince myself I’m joining the autocross. I registered under the Novice category. It was my first time to run. I’ve been to many Autocross and Slalom before to cheer for my dad, Now it was my dads turn to cheer for me. I did my practice run with enterprise, my pet car, to familiarize myself with the path the autocross will go. I thought it was going to be easy. As my turn came, I felt the adrenalin rush in my body, I can hear my heart thumping out so loud. I stepped on the accelerator and as I panicked. I use the clutch instead of the brake to control my speed in every turn so as not to hit pylons. I feared that stepping on the brake will make my car turn turtle at great speed. To my dismay, my enterprise was disabled. I burned the clutch. My only consolation, I landed fourth among more than 10 male participants, not bad for a girl and a first timer, according to my dad.
The lesson I learned from the experience- “I have to be prepared in everything I do and to have presence of mind”
Next- Slalom

Do you have bank account? I have my payroll account at UCPB- Valero Branch. And I’ll go straight-forward about it. They have a BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE! I had a terrible experience with the branch many times. I always give them a chance to prove that I am wrong about their services to their customers. Until I get fed up with all the situations that happened to me. I also found out that I am not the only one who get a POOR Service but also my co-workers. My first encounter to them was when I need to apply for my Payroll account. The lady on the customer assistance was not accommodating. She talked as if I owe her something. Then every time I will have a transaction employees don’t accommodate me. I need to get their attention before they can entertain my concern. But my major concern is when I observed that every lunch breaks and after office hours they make their atm machine OFFLINE!
Until I decided to write a complain letter to the administration of our company to be informed about the situations that is happening.
I am disappointed with the customer service.

Reg: UCPB Payroll Account
To Whom It May Concern:
With regards to our company payroll account UCPB (United Coconut Planters Bank, Valero Branch), there have been complaints concerning the poor customer services of this bank.
Incident 1:
Captured Card
An employee once had her card captured in the ATM of UCPB. She was having second thoughts of leaving her captured card inside the atm due to insufficient security personnel in the area. She waited near the machine for 10-15 minutes just so she could rush to the bank since work hours started around 9AM.
Upon rushing to UCPB, the guard would not permit her to do a transaction inside the bank since there were only a few minutes more to go before 9AM. In frustration, she informed the man that her card got captured and it wasn’t that secure in the area to leave it waiting.
She explained that their machine was located in a non-secure area where anything could happen (i.e “salisi gang”). Upon hearing this, the people inside the bank, take note, there were already actual employees inside UCPB, would not even bat an eyelash to help or accommodate its client. Instead, the person involved in the incident had to take on a different tone of voice so she could be heard and it took a long time before UCPB employees actually helped the client.
Incident 2:
Debit Issues
There have been two employees who have experienced debit issues with UCPB ATM and have garnered negative encounters with the bank’s employees. First of, a former employee has been debited in her account, not only once, but two times already all of which have direct transactions with UCPB’s ATM Valero.
Second would be another employee observed that not only every lunch break but most of the time, the machine would always be offline. So, she resorted to transacting with the nearest China bank branch. This is where she had her account debited. She seeked help from China Bank who were accomodating, but it did not stop there. She had to make sure that UCPB knew this so that the incident would be immediately reported. However, the same substandard service UCPB employees delivered once again occurred.
In observance to this substandard customer service UCPB has delivered, a proposal of a new payroll account such as BPI Savings is beneficial to your employees. BPI Savings Bank offers an EPS card (Payroll, easier transaction, more acceptable to atm’s as compared to UCPB, there are more BPI ATM’s available) that is widely accepted with no transaction fee required (if withdrawn from same account).
If this is not possible, we would just like for you to pay attention to our requests for better banking services.
Thank you for your time.
